History

Here are some of the highlights of Brian’s career to date:

Trained in the Royal Conservatory classical program and received the college equivalent degrees in Theory and Practical.

Played in bands in the Detroit/Windsor area, opening up for such musicians as Ted Nugent.

Toured Germany, Austria and Canada with recording artist, Jack Grunsky, who went on to win Juno Awards (Canada’s Grammy Award) for Best Children’s Album. Records on several projects with violinist, Ben Mink (from k.d. lang’s group and the composer of many of her songs including “Constant Craving”).

Played keyboard for a special concert with Grammy award winning jazz bassist Stanley Clarke. Performed in bands in the Toronto area.

The New Age single, “Fields” aired regularly on Canada’s top New Age Radio Show, “Lights Out” on CHUM-FM Toronto.

Recorded piano solo CD: "A Day In The Life" - Sarasota, FL.

Composed background music for The Education Channel's "Art Off The Wall" - Tampa, FL.

Performance and interview on the "Jack Harris Show" - Tampa, FL

Recorded Smooth Jazz songs with Allon Sams (keyboardist for Smooth Jazz guitarist, Peter White). Hear the songs “I'll Think Of Something” & "Washington" on the TV & Film Cues page.

Worked with Ron & Dave Reinhardt (Keyboardist and Drummer for Smooth Jazz saxophonist, Richard Elliot).

Composed original score for “Made Incorrect” A Film by Aaron Lindquist.

Composing for original music CDs, "Lullaby Suite, A Day In The Life and The Power of Nature"

Performs full time in South West Florida as a solo pianist and in his band with his partner Dori Miller.

Brian has recently completed the "Hans Zimmer MasterClass Film Scoring Course" and is a regular contributing member of TAXI A&R Music service, composing music for Film & TV

He has been a pianist for 23 years at the famous "Bob Heilman’s The Beachcomber Restaurant" on world renowned Clearwater Beach, Florida.
